2024 Pepperpot Awards Celebration

The 2024 Pepperpot Awards, hosted by the Philadelphia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), was a night to remember for Cashman & Associates. This prestigious annual event celebrates the best in public relations – honoring agencies, practitioners, non-profits, and corporations for their innovative campaigns and exceptional execution. This year’s awards drew nearly 100 submissions from the region’s top communicators.

Among the standout projects recognized this year was Cashman & Associates’ submission of the Philly Opener for the Philadelphia Visitor Center. The Philly Opener, a groundbreaking fundraising event held on May 20, 2024, marked the celebration of National Travel and Tourism Week and was a resounding success.

From concept to execution, our team collaborated closely with the Philadelphia Visitor Center to plan an unforgettable experience that not only elevated the Visitor Center’s profile and highlighted the city’s vibrant tourism scene, but also celebrated one of Philadelphia’s own: Philadelphia Eagles’ Brandon Graham, who was recognized as the MVP, “Most Valuable Philadelphian.”

With over 400 attendees, the Philly Opener became an exclusive highlight of the city’s tourism calendar. The funds raised during the event will play a pivotal role in supporting future initiatives by the Philadelphia Visitor Center, ensuring Philadelphia remains a premier destination for travelers.

On December 5th, the Down Town Club by Cescaphe transformed into a dazzling venue for the Pepperpot Awards Ceremony. Emceed by Wooder Ice Media, the Hollywood-themed evening brought together Philadelphia’s most talented public relations professionals for a night of celebration. Guests enjoyed a lively atmosphere, complete with a cocktail hour featuring specialty drinks, a gourmet dinner, and exceptional networking opportunities.

C&A is honored to have been recognized at the 2024 Pepperpot Awards. This achievement highlights the dedication, creativity, and teamwork behind the Philly Opener. We extend our gratitude to the Philadelphia Visitor Center for trusting us with this project and to the PRSA Philly Chapter for recognizing excellence in public relations. Submissions were evaluated by the PRSA Los Angeles Chapter, with only a select few projects emerging victorious, making this recognition even more meaningful.
