Our firm specializes in connecting upscale lifestyle brands to their consumers in the hospitality, food & beverage, travel & tourism, fashion & retail, sports & entertainment, real estate, civic, and non-profit industries.

Cashman & Associates is headquartered in Philadelphia with a network  that extends through all major media markets including New York, Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles, Austin, Washington D.C., Pittsburgh,  Boston and Las Vegas.

Nicole A. Cashman is the Founder and CEO of Cashman & Associates, one of the most recognized marketing and communications agencies in the region. Nicole leads a team of strategic communication, brand management, and consumer event professionals who specialize in the tourism and hospitality, retail, wellness, sports and entertainment, non-profit and real estate industries.

As a young entrepreneur, Nicole blazed a trail that transformed the public relations industry in Philadelphia. Almost 25 years ago, Nicole founded Cashman & Associates and set a new standard for lifestyle public relations and special events in the region. Her attention to detail, zest for hospitality, and innate ability to market brands to influential consumers attracted the highest profile and emerging brands to her agency.

Nicole not only delivers groundbreaking campaigns for clients, she has paved a new path for women entrepreneurs. She was among the first woman owned businesses in the public relations industry in Philadelphia and remains a champion of the businesses, many woman-owned, that she helped launch and have become household names.

A Philadelphia native, Nicole began her career at Drexel University where she earned a B.S. in Design and Merchandising with a minor in Marketing while completing a Co-Op internship with the flagship Saks Fifth Avenue store in New York City. Her success in retail continued with her role as Public Relations Director for Bloomingdale’s in New York City, where she managed communication and event initiatives for the New York metro region and Boston. She was then recruited as Director of Public Relations, Special Events, and Community Engagement for 28 Strawbridge’s stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.

Nicole is passionate about serving the community where she lives and works, and volunteering and corporate giving are core values of Cashman & Associates. She has served on the boards of Philadelphia institutions such as the Philadelphia Art Alliance, the Greater Philadelphia Film Office, the City of Philadelphia’s Mural Arts Program, and The Childhood Resilience Foundation; as well as leading committees for the 2016 Democratic National Convention, Friends of Rittenhouse Square and Gift of Life.

In addition to her charity work, Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband and son at their home in Wyndmoor and vacationing in Newport, Rhode Island.

Nicole has received the CCPA REAL Small Business Award, Drexel University’s Rankin-Epstein Distinguished Alumni Award and Silver Dragon Society Award, Philadelphia Business Journal’s Women of Distinction Award, the Special Achievement Award in Business from the National Italian American Political Action Committee, PRSA’s DeAnn White Award for Individual Achievement, the Police Athletic League Award, the PHL Diversity’s Women-Owned Business Award, Philadelphia Business Journal’s Best Places to Work Award, and the PR News’ Top Places to Work Award.
