Where to Eat & Drink around the Flower Show
The Philadelphia Flower Show is back at the Philadelphia Convention Center. So, in true C&A fashion, we will dish on all the best places to eat and drink in the area. Hollywood is the theme this year, so feel like a star while you dine and drink at some of Philadelphia’s most glamorous restaurants and bars. Here is your guide to a day filled with food, fun and of course FLOWERS!
Breakfast in Blooms at Hard Rock Cafe Philadelphia:
Start the day off right with a breakfast buffet at Hard Rock Cafe. Hard Rock is right next door to the convention center, and right inside Reading Terminal—for all you commuters, you don’t even have to go outside! Get off the train, grab a bite to eat, and then head to the convention center to stop and smell the roses. “Breakfast in Blooms” is available from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. during the show, 2/28-3/8. Enjoy an assortment of fruits, yogurts, French toast, eggs, and more for $15.00—and yes, there will be mimosas!
Lunch in the Garden:
Experience and enjoy what this year’s Flower Show is all about when they transform the Grand Hall Backlot at the Convention Center into an Academy Awards themed garden. Cooks will be serving up made to order burgers, briskets, and bar foods. Celebrities Dan Aykroyd and Christina Millian will be signing bottles of wine from their signature collections. C&A can promise that this will be a highlight of your flower show experience.
Relive Old Hollywood at Butcher and Singer:
Let out your inner-starlet at Butcher and Singer where you will be treated like a star. With low lighting and dark woods, you will feel like you stepped into an old Hollywood movie. C&A’s choice for a luxurious evening would be to pair their cold water lobster with the perfect Manhattan. At Butcher and Singer you don’t have to be a celebrity to be treated like one.
Cocktails with a Floral Twist at Liberte Lounge:
End the evening with a night cap before heading home. Liberte Lounge has a cocktail list as fresh and hand-picked flowers. What better way to celebrate the Flower Show than sipping on inspired drinks with herbs fresh from the rooftop garden. C&A recommends Val’s Garden, a cocktail inspired by the small batch botanical Spirit, Uncle Val’s Gin. The cocktail is the perfect blend of lavender notes and citrus flavor. Cheers to flowers in bloom!
