ICON Design Preview Event

ICON, in Philadelphia’s historic 1616 Walnut building, hosted an exclusive preview event where hand selected guests had the first look inside the most anticipated luxury apartmentdevelopment of the year.  The opening of ICON marked the completion of the $50 million redevelopment and offers residents the rare combination of historic elegance mixed with today’s most innovative and modern amenities. The thoughtful redevelopment and design of ICON nods to the building’s 1930’s Art Deco history, and is beautifully executed throughout- from the restoration of the building’s original light fixtures and deco-styled elevators- to the geometric shapes and eclectic motifs found in the carpet patterns. In celebration of the building’s artistic excellence, ICON called on three top interior designers (Floss Barber, Carrie Leskowitz and Carole Roach) to outfit a studio, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom apartment.  Over 75 guests toured the units while enjoying light bites and cocktails provided by Brûlée Catering and hand the chance to meet the designers.
