Get Ready for March Madness

It’s March Madness, and we don’t mean basketball! From the Flower Show to Passyunk Wine Week, and BalletX to Saint Patrick’s Day, check out some of the amazing events happening in Philadelphia this month.

The world’s oldest and largest indoor event of its kind, the Philadelphia Flower Show returns! This year’s theme is “Wonders of Water”, which explores and celebrates the life-sustaining connection between horticulture and water.

During East Passyunk Restaurant Week, three-course prix-fixe lunches and dinners are available at more than 24 different restaurants from $15-$35.

Steakhouses, seafood spots, fine-dining establishments and more set their tables for King of Prussia Restaurant Week, which returns with more than 20 participating eateries, including King of Prussia Town Center favorites like MidiCi and more this March. Restaurants offer up either $10, $15 or $20 lunch specials and $20, $30 or $40 dinner deals throughout the week-long event.

Spend St. Patrick’s Day watching marching bands, decorated floats, music and dance groups, youth groups and Irish associations parade down Broad Street to City Hall and from City Hall to Market Street to Penn’s Landing.

Join the Market & Shops for a “Pinots Palette Pop-Up.” Former Philadelphia Eagle’s player Tra Thomas & his wife Rosa will host a pop-up of their wine and paint store, Pinots Palette. Guests will be able to make their very own painting while sample local food from the Market and wines from Pinot’s Boutique.

Look forward to eight days of valuable vino learnings, pairing parties, wine flight specials and more across the city. From tastings to dinner parties to educational sessions, vino-filled opportunities of all sorts await.

Contemporary ballet collective BalletX kicks off its Spring Series this month. The two-plus weeks of shows will include world premieres by highly celebrated choreographers Trey McIntyre and Darrell Grand Moultrie, as well as Matthew Neenan’s Increasing.
