Event Production Case Study: Independence Historical Trust Royal Visit
In partnership with Independence Historical Trust, Cashman & Associates (C&A) meticulously planned and produced the the visit of His Royal Highness, The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Edward to Philadelphia on April 30, 2025 for the dedication of the Bicentennial Bell, located in Independence National Historical Park. The visit consisted of three key events, including a Dedication Ceremony of the Bicentennial Bell at the Benjamin Rush Garden, a Luncheon at Carpenters’ Hall, and a Dinner at Down Town Club. C&A led the strategic planning for the April 30 Royal Visit, from creative concepting to top-tier production management.
C&A managed all aspects of event planning, from conceptualization and timeline creation to site logistics, vendor coordination, menu planning, event décor consultation and event signage production. C&A streamlined check-in systems, planned emergency protocols, and supported sponsorship fulfillment. To offset event expenses for the non-profit, C&A secured over $40,500 of in-kind sponsorship support, fostering new vendor relationships for the Independence Historical Trust. C&A also coordinated the events with city and federal officials, including Mayor Cherelle Parker, the United States Department of State and the National Park Service.
C&A planned and produced seamless events from start to finish, resulting in an elevated dignitary and guest experience, a smooth run of show, and heightened awareness of Independence Historical Trust on the city, state, and national level.
