Looking Forward to 2018
As Cashman and Associates reflects and bids farewell to 2017, we eagerly await all that 2018 has in store. From international events like the Winter Olympics in South Korea, to exciting events and grand openings right here in the City of Brotherly Love, this year has many things to look forward to. See below for what we’re most excited for:
Laura: I’m looking forward to the opening of Drexel Square – the 1.3-acre park part of Brandywine Realty Trusts’ Schuylkill Yards Innovation Community.
Melanie: My third year working on Wawa Welcome America. The fireworks on the Parkway are always a highlight of the summer.
Michelle: I’m looking forward to the opening of the new Four Seasons hotel atop the soon-to-be-completed Comcast tower.
Deepika: I’m excited for the grand reopening of LOVE Park and the return of the refurbished LOVE statue.
Shana: I’m looking forward to more overnight stays at the finest hotels and dining and sipping at the most popular restaurants (new and old).
Alex: I’m looking forward to the presence of Ultra Violet, named 2018 Pantone color of the year, in graphic design and beyond, and the trends it will surely inspire.
Megan: 2017 was such an exciting year with back-to-back events, new client happenings, restaurant openings and more. I’m looking forward to building on that momentum in 2018 and celebrating continued agency and personal successes.
Jill: I’m looking forward to resetting my New Year’s fitness resolution at new fitness studios in Center City. I’m also excited to see how retailers will shift and evolve in the ever-changing shopping landscape – as experiential and purposeful marketing continues to develop, it will be exciting to see how retailers create connections with consumers
Alyssa: I am excited for the bevy of lifestyle enhancements coming to Philadelphia – from the new CTC tower (Greg Vernick AND Jean-Georges? Yes please!) to the W hotel to the Fitler Club to the Fashion District’s long anticipated arrival, Philadelphia is about to have a BIG moment.
Sofia: I’m looking forward to Philly Fights Cancer: Round 4 on November 10th and seeing progress in cancer research. There have been miraculous breakthroughs in 2017 with the FDA’s approval of CAR-T gene therapy, developed at Abramson Cancer Center at Penn Medicine and I look forward to seeing this momentum continue.
Allie: I’m looking forward to watching the vision for Schuylkill Yards begin to become a reality with Drexel Square set to be completed by the year’s end, and the commencement of construction on the former Bulletin building. As these projects take shape, the corner of 30th and Market will be transformed setting the stage for the future of University City.
Olivia: I am looking forward to traveling to St. Lucia with my family and the grand opening of 3000BC in Center City.
