Philly Holiday Festival

In November and December Philadelphia comes to life with light shows, parades, ice skating, shopping, and much, much more. As early as November 9th, visitors can get into the holiday spirit at the Rothman Ice Rink at City Hall. Christmas Village returns to LOVE Park on November 17th and a few short days later, the Philly Holiday Festival kicks off on Thanksgiving Day with the 6abc Thanksgiving Day Parade. Throughout the holiday season, the PHLASH holiday shuttle will take visitors on a holiday journey, river to river, to experience the wonderful winter attractions across the city. Make your way from the heart of the holiday festival at City Hall up to the historical houses of Fairmount and right over to the Riverfront for ice skating and hot cocoas. The Philly Holiday Festival runs through New Year’s Day and culminates with SugarHouse Casino’s Mummer’s Parade – a true Philadelphia tradition. With all of the amazing things our city has to offer, one thing is for sure – there’s no place like home for the holidays.
