Hotel Sofitel is mixing up savory and sweet in three unique flavor combinations from butter notes to kicks of citrus on their menu for the winter season.
Created by cocktail extraordinaire Chris Chamberlain of Philadelphia Distilling company. This drink is the classic “Fizz” cocktail with a hard cold shake and the flavors of buttermilk, maple syrup, rosemary and cinnamon to put you in the chilly season mood.
Grand Rum Butter
A twist on the classic “hot rum butter,” the rum batter in this version includes clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, brown sugar, cane sugar and vanilla ice cream. Chef Perdue has altered the measurements to optimize the flavor pairing with the addition of Grand Marnier & lemon.
Blood and Sand
A classic blood and sand cocktail with blood orange Limoncello instead of blood orange juice. There is no added orange juice afterwards that is typically used in the old time classic. A great drink to warm you up during the coming cold weather!
