New Year’s Eve in Philly, KOP & AC

As we say goodbye to 2016, we get to look forward to all of the things that 2017 has in store. What better way to start the New Year off right than with fun and festive celebrations in the city? C&A has you covered with our list of New Year’s Eve happenings. Toast to 2017 at these events and dinners in your neighborhood.

PHILADELPHIA

One Liberty Observation Deck offers the best view of the Penn’s Landing fireworks at 6 p.m. Philadelphia’s tallest attraction has incredible 360° views of the city, making it the perfect spot to watch the fireworks inside away from the cold wintery weather. Open until 8 p.m. discounts for New Year’s Eve include $5.00 off advance tickets purchased online OR free kids admission (one free youth when accompanied by one paid adult at the Ticketing Desk only). 

Plenty Café – Enjoy a European Alpine themed prix fixe menu at Plenty Café’s newest location at Queen Village. The tasting course menu features traditional cold weather foods throughout the Alpine region of Europe (France, Austria, Slovenia, Italy, Germany & Switzerland). For $45/person, indulge in a three-course meal with a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. Seating is available at 6pm, 8pm and 10pm – email info@plentyphiladelphia.com for reservations.

Aqimero at The Ritz Carlton – A variety of prix fixe menus + champagne toasts will be available throughout the night to complement live entertainment and a midnight balloon drop. 5pm-8:30pm – 4-Course Pre-Fixed Menu for $80/person (last seating at 7:30pm) 
9:30pm – 6-Course Pre-Fixed Menu + Champagne Toast for $150/person (wine pairings available for additional cost)

Sofitel Philadelphia – Urban chic Liberté Lounge offers a special intimate NYE dining experience. The 3-course menu includes unique offerings like Duck Six-Ways, Filet and Oxtail, and an Octopus Crudo with champagne toast at midnight. $75/person

Barclay Prime – For luxury at its finest, celebrate at Barclay Prime. Enjoy amazing steakhouse fare from the a la carte menu offerings such as lobster, truffles, foie gras and wagyu beef, along with specials and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight.

 

KING OF PRUSSIA

City Works Restaurant at The King of Prussia Town Center – Chef Carmen has whipped up some tasty food specials to treat yourself to this NYE featuring elevated seafood dinner specials including Dayboat Scallops, Ahi Tuna Tartare, Cape May Salt Oysters and Spanish Rock Octopus. City Works will also feature a live video DJ all night long.

ATLANTIC CITY

Tropicana Atlantic City has the ultimate New Year’s Eve all in one place. Start with a special meal at Il Verdi, Golden Dynasty or Fiesta Buffet; then on to fireworks on the Boardwalk at 9 p.m.; followed by dancing and partying the night away. Nightclub offerings include:
Anthem presents a 1920s-style speakeasy party that goes all through the night until 7 a.m. on New Year’s Day.
Bottle service is the way to go at Ivan Kane’s Kiss Kiss Nightclub. Make your reservations in advance for the best seat in the house.
Party like it’s 1999 at Boogie Nights, or get a more techno experience at Providence with state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems.
