Nicole A. Cashman, a Philadelphia native, attended Drexel University where she earned a B.S. in Design, Merchandising and Marketing. After graduation, Nicole served as PR Director for Bloomingdale’s in New York which led to her role as Director of PR & Special Events for 28 Strawbridge’s stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.
In late 1999, she opened a boutique PR firm and was responsible for programs surrounding the 2000 Republican National Convention. In 2001, Cashman extended her business outside of the Philadelphia area and launched Cashman & Associates nationally where she is President & CEO, and sole proprietor.

Responsible for the success of many media programs and high-profile events, Cashman has worked with a roster of major talent and brands including The City of Philadelphia, Hotel Palomar Philadelphia, Greater Philadelphia Film Office, Stephen Starr Restaurants, Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation, Kiehl’s Since 1851, City of Philadelphia’s Mural Arts Program, Comcast, Live Nation, Niche Media Publications, Virgin Atlantic and more.
Giving back is something Nicole believes in passionately. Cashman is on the board of organizations including the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Cardinal’s Cabinet, the Do-Gooders, Drexel University’s Board of Governors and member of “A Space to Create” campaign committee for Drexel University’s Westfall College of Media Arts and Design’s URBN Center, Philadelphia Art Alliance, the Board of Visitors for the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, the Greater Philadelphia Film Office and is co-chair of the Film Office’s Development Committee. Nicole is also co-chair of the City of Philadelphia’s Mural Arts Program Advisory Board and The Power Shift. As if Nicole’s board involvement isn’t enough, she is chair of Tiffany & Co.’s Academy Ball Reception and leads committees for the Central Committee for the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Foundation for Breast and Prostate Health, Friends of Rittenhouse Square Ball, Gift of Life, National Organization for Hearing Research, and is a member of the Union League’s Entertainment Committee.
In addition to her charity work, Cashman has received the CCPA REAL Small Business Award, Drexel University’s Rankin-Epstein Distinguished Alumni Award, Philadelphia Business Journal’s Women of Distinction Award, the Special Achievement Award in Business from the National Italian American Political Action Committee, PRSA’s DeAnn White Award for Individual Achievement, and most recently, the Gift of Life Donor Program’s Hero of the Year Award.
