Summer Sippin

One of my favorite warm-weather activities = sipping on crisp, cool cocktails. Some of the hottest restaurants in the city have just rolled out their new spring/summer cocktail menus, and I’ve quickly discovered a few “must sips”…

 

• Chima Brazilian Steakhouse has an Acai Caipirinha (a traditional Brazilian drink with a kick of Acai) that’s to die for.  I saw Marnie Hall went here recently and had a Chima bartender show her how to make one! Check it out here.

 

• I discovered the Mexican Maid at Ranstead Room/El Rey on Cinco de Mayo!  It’s a light, summery drink with one of my favorite ingredients – Tequila.

 

• The Tiki Tumbler has the perfect combination of rum, pineapple, and lime juice. I discovered this one last Friday at The Philadelphia Museum of Art’s “Martinis on the Portico” Friday evening happy hour series that lasts throughout the summer!
